Heading to Dunedin ... and civilisation !

There were a few spots of rain when we woke up this morning. Tarun hadn't slept well ... he hates our soft beds!! Those of you who have been to India will know that the beds there are like slabs of concrete. Fairs fair ... I had to put up with sleeping on those when I was in India and now he has to put up with ours.

Our first stop was Nugget Point. There is a spectacular view from the very high cliffs. We were happy that the rain had stopped.

On to Balclutha for brunch ... wow ... they had a vege stack on the menu ... lucky Tarun.

We reached Dunedin about 1 pm... Checked into a motel in St Kildas and did the chores. We had lots of clothes to wash and needed to stock up at the supermarket.
Chores done we headed down to the beach for a walk. It was a beautiful beach with some very impressive surf. I'm rather glad that Tarun wasn't tempted to swim here.

It was a quiet afternoon but one that was needed!
The evening was equally relaxed ...  dinner in the motel care of Chef Sharma and television.
